Molex problems... maybe...

I just bought a lamptron fc6 fan controller and an nzxt sleeved led lighting kit. The fan controller was plugged in it worked for about 10 minutes then the screen went blank, however everything else on it is working, the backlight, the actual controller... The nzxt sleeved kit stopped working about 5 minutes after the screen went out. I have an nzxt Hale82 650watt power supply and I only say that molex could be the problem because they are both plugged into the same molex cable. I could easly RMA both these new products but I don't know if its the problem and I don't really have any other power supply to test them on
