Intel Upgrade under 600 AUD

From i5 720, it should be worth upgrading a cpu for better fps? 

 

Need: CPU/Motherboard/Memory

Store: AUD/Umart Only

Budget : 600 AUD

The rest of system is fine. This is for friend, he has 970 and hx psu.
