RGB Fans?

Hey guys, are there any RGB fans that are controlled via software? Ive got a gigabyte z170x-gaming 7 board. dont know if that makes a difference or not. im wanting to have rgb fans in the front panel of my Thermaltake View 27. thanks!

the thermaltakes are only controlled by that external controller i thought?

I have the riing fans but they are in white so i dont use the software so i cant tell you how good it is. But i have a hue+ from nzxt and the soft is okay. But the strips are kind of janky at times but their customer service is awesome and sent out new ones

well im not really looking for led strips, i just want to be able to control the fans via a program and not a controller i have to manually adjust. are your riing fans PWM?

Pretty sure they both need to use a controller of some kind. My just hook right into a fan header since they are just a single color

Sorry actually just looked at my case and they both connect with a splitter attached to a molex cable

ok this might be a really dumb question, but will a 3pin fan make it to where the fan speeds up and slows down as needed or is it at a constant RPM from start up?

Not 100% sure but I think the 4th pin is there so you are able to change the speeds of the fans from bios or other programs. If they are 3 or connected to molex then they just run at a constant speed but don't quote me on it
