Hey guys,

I've got an issue which I have had with my PC for a while now and although it doesn't stop me using my system I have come to the realization that I have no idea what is causing it and would like to get it sorted.

Most of the time when I start my PC from it being completely shut down all I get is a blank screen and a debug code of 71 on the motherboard. According to the manual this refers to Late South Bridge Initialization. I was just wondering if someone could enlighten me as to what exactly this means and if there are any suggestions as to what to do remedy it. I have cleared the CMOS previously which hasn't helped and to actually get my machine running I have to reset it and it instantly starts up. System specs are as follows:

Motherboard: MSI Gaming 5

CPU: i7-4790k running at 4.4Ghz

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i GTX

RAM: 2 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866MHz

GPU: MSI GAMING X GTX 1080

PSU: Corsair RM650

OS: Windows 10 64Bit

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO (250Gb)

HDD: Seagate Barracuda (3Tb)

BIOS: Cannot find a version number but it is fully up to date.

Any help is much appreciated!

Cheers!
