It sounds like either the socket or jack is broken. Is the jack still in one piece and complete? do the headphones still work with other devices?

 

Short term i'd guess you've got a rear port to use instead.

 

Long term you could probably find a replacement front port board from the manufacturer to replace, shouldn't be too expensive or difficult.

You probably broke the "locking mechanism" (if you can call it that) of your jack. Do you have any performance issues (hissing or buzzing)?

yeah it still works on other devices
