I/O shield Tabs Help

There are metal tabs protruding into the area where a port would go for my io whats the best way to handle these.

bend them slightly to make things fit.

To properly fix it you would need to take off the motherboard and when installing to ensure the tabs make contact with the metal housing but not interfere with the port. I have in the odd case when it occurs is to take a flush trim snip to cut off a tab or bend them over.
