So I have windows 10 on a 1TB hard drive, and I want to clone that to a 120GB ssd. which I did.. but it didn't wanna boot up! it sent me to a black screen saying a error about a boot configuration. I have tried setting the SSD to "active" and nothing either.. I need help.. by the way I've done the cloning twice already same error.

With macrium reflect? 2-3 hours, but make sure to format the SSD before doing it and make sure the data on the HDD is less then the size of the ssd

Okay thank you! i just started it about 5minutes ago & it's at 4% formated the ssd & only i've only used 60gb's on the HDD. so should fit easily on 120gb SSD.

Its  finished, before i restart what do i do? do i disconnect my main windows 10 drive & boot from the ssd or?

You don't have to disconnect it, just got with them both on and select boot from SSD and if it boots a way to make sure it's the SSD is to see if the 120gb one is c drive, sorry for the late reply

And if that doesn't work you could try disconnecting it but it should, atleast it did for me.
