Use a broken H80i's pump/block

Hi everyone, I have an old H80i that has a failed pump (makes annoying clicking noise), i've teared the whole cooler apart and flushed it, since it's been sitting around doing nothing I thought I'd use the radiator, the tubing and the block, add a pump from something like a car, a reservoir and turn this thing into a custom loop

 

My question is will the pump/block combo work without the corsair pump running ? What about the water flow, will the external water pump run into problems with the tight tubing of the H80i since I believe an AIO is designed for low water flow  ?

Well it would all depend on the pump used. But as long as the pump is similar spec wise and properly fitted you should have similar results.
