[Help] Underlocking my 7970

Greetings community!!

So I wan't to underclock my Sapphire HD 7970 OC w/ Boost, I have no prior experience in overclocking nor underclocking. The main reason I want to do this is to conduct some tests as my Dota 2 is triggering my computer to completely freeze.

Windows 8 64bit Ultimate

Motherboard: AsRock Z77 Extreme4

CPU: Intel i5-3570k

GPU: Sapphire HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost

RAM: G.Skill Sniper 9GB (2x4) 1600

PSU: CoolerMaster Extreme2 525watts

Case: AeroCool Mechatron Black Edition

CPU Cooler: Hyper Cooler Master EVO 212 Turbo

Try increase the Core voltage by 0.05 or find a better PSU to try.
