Just a thought though. Since you're using the mobo for a Kaby CPU, why not use a Maximus VIII? It still fits the ROG theme.

Just a thought though. Since you're using the mobo for a Kaby CPU, why not use a Maximus VIII? It still fits the ROG theme.

So say it does take like 10 mb/s, the header on my internal USB hub that the link cable will be plugged in to maxes out at only 5mb/s? Isn't that a significant performance decrease?

The VIII won't work for me because it don't have complete Aura Sync like the new IX boards to go with my Strix 1080.

Lol jk, I really think you have no reason to worry. If the hub doesn't work somehow you can first try to get help fixing it, and then return it if it still doesn't work

Lol they basically want me to pay $200 more for a fking USB2.0 header.

But yeah, I think I'm getting way too technical with this and worrying over nothing.
