Hey I have a pc, xbone, ps4, and ps3 with the hyperx cloud 2 headset. The headset doesnt work on ps3 but I am hoping to find a workaround for that but My question is I like to play my games on console while talking and listening from my pc. Will a mixer make that possible? What are mixers used for?(The gaming ones) and will it allow me to connect all of my devices and listen in on them when turned on all at once? I dont want to be playing around with wires like unplugging them and plugging them in. I have the consoles hooked up to my monitor which has no speakers.

Im not well versed in audio equipment but I believe a mixer just mixes multiple audio tracks together usually with volume controls also. a mixer should let you do what you are trying to do assuming your mic and headphones are different plugs.
