My friends 3.5mm mic (red) port broke on the front of his PC.  The headphone has a splitter from 3.5mm (4pole) to dual 3.5mm (1 speakers, 1 mic).  I am looking for a male USB to female 3.5mm, but Idk if I need an active one or what.  will this https://www.amazon.com/Aluminum-External-Headphone-Microphone-Compatible/dp/B014ANW4VU/ref=sr_1_2?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1483485174&sr=8-2&keywords=usb+to+female+3.5mm&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011 work?
