H115i Pump Noise?

Does anyone know if the H115i makes noticeable pump noise? As in a buzzing/rattling/whining sound? I've been hearing a lot of reviews on Newegg that has to do with the pump being noisy and have seen a lot of YouTube videos on the issue as well. Some say its the pump and others say its the stock fans.

 

Regardless, I have already ordered ML140 Pro's to replace the stock fans of the H115i because they are just way too loud, but my H115i is still unopened so I can still return it if pump noise will be an issue.

 

Does anyone have the pump noise issue with their H115i?

pump noise depends if i put my ear on my x61 i can hear the pump but normally it's silent. i would suggest you call and see if you can get a replacement or rma.

Does your x61 have like a buzzing/crackling noise? I hear Asetek pumps have that.

not mine i set mine at low speed also this is how a bad x61 sounds like

i was trying to say that's how a broken x6 sounds,h115i will have a similar sound if that happens please rma a broken aio is bad.

Oh ok, will do. I hear that both the kraken and H115i are Asetek pumps, so would they roughly have the same pump noise?

 

Because I'm wondering how a non-faulty pump should normally sound like. This is my first time water cooling so yeah.
