Good Windows Tablet/Convertible

Price Range of $1000. Ideally, I'd like to pay $500, but will go higher if need be. 

Will be using it for podcast recording and media consumption (Debating on whether or not I need video editing added on). Expandable storage is a must.

The surface pro 4 is really nice but the 5 is coming out soon so it might be better if you wait for that.

I was going to say pretty much the same thing as Abyss Gaming up there. However some of the OEMs have come out with some decent knock offs too the dell XPS 12 might be a good fit as well. It's not as good as the Surface Pro 4, but it doesn't sound like you're looking for anything crazy. I don't know what you mean by "expandable storage" on a tablet, other than USB attachable, witch it has, and USB 3.1 /w thunderbolt.
