Basically:

HD 7970 = R9 280X

HD 7950 = R9 280 (Most likely going to find this)

HD 7870 = R9 270X (Better than 750 Ti)

HD 7850 = R9 270 (Still better than 750 Ti)

This is all from memory, and I'm sure on the 79xx cards but not on the 78xx cards.

Well look at that :D

Hi im building a New Pc for $300 and heres what i wanted. I need to run overwatch at 60+ fps. My idea was to take a cheap qiad core prebuilt and add a GPU to it. Sometihng like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=Dell+Optiplex&ignorear=0&N=100019096 601190702&isNodeId=1&LeftPriceRange=0 150 plus a gtx 1050ti or something, but that is too small and not a large enough PSU, and ideas / links?

can you spend a bit more a gtx 770 would really be good for your build

Didn't you already post two days ago? :P

I've already told you what you have to know. A mid-tower sized prebuilt, and a GTX 1050. Don't worry about PSU, just post here with a photo of it once you get it (tag me @Energycore so I can take a look at it and tell you whether it's fine to run with a 1050, chances are it will be)

How do i tag someone, just type @ then their name like @Energycore

lol forgot to link.

the ram slots might be 2 slots only so you might have to change it to 2x4gb instead. the case won't fit a gtx 770 and all gtx 1050ti except for 1-2 low-profile models. i would recommend you go for Dex's or my rig that we linked instead or find a pc with full-length slots.

If you're gonna do 4GB, do 1x4, that's better for easy upgrades.

A 1050 ti is better than a 960 which is better or equal than a 770

1050ti should be better, a higher tier gtx 780ti is similar to the 1050ti in gaming xD

sorry my mistake forgot Nvidia rottenegg tech this point i would suggest just going for a 470 or a 480 of you can. the 770 was a beast at its time now its bad. the 780 ti was really good card i am very surprised. also those who are wondering
