Can anyone suggest a good antivirus and antimalware? My computer is currently has none of these

I'm currently searching for one. I'm inexperienced with these kinds of things

the free version is just as good at detecting as the paid version
https://www.kaspersky.com/ this is the best paid antivirus i know, all the nerds i know recommend it so you know its good.

avira free anti virus is the best free anti virus i think according to toms hardware. i use this myself. the popups can be annoying sometimes but it never interrupts a movie or game or anything like that.

also comodo free antivirus and firewall are probably some of the most customizable virus scanner and firewalls i know off, if you like the meddle around with it, get those. its also free.

I work in enterprise a lot  can recommend sophos for antivirus, they do a free home edition that is the same protection as what they have in enterprise, it's super fast, reliable etc, with a web managed control panel (http://home.sophos.com) and for malware, use malwarebytes!
