Ryzen CPU gaming benchmark leaked !!!

https://www.extremetech.com/computing/241688-new-leaked-benchmarks-show-amds-ryzen-going-toe-toe-intels-core-i7

See how perform ryzen in a leaked benchmark...

Does well in multitasking workstation like expected, almost beated the i7 6900k,

Does soso in gaming, not even beating a 6600k i5 skylake...

GG amd already for gaming ? or too early still to say still ?

I would wait for reliable benchmarks before we assume anything about the AMD Ryzen CPUs. Leaks could easily be rigged or wrong.

I think leaks are garbage, but if you look at the charts, Ryzen was much closer to a 6800k in multitasking than a 6900k so i think your statement is hyping this up a bit.

It's within a few percent of the 6600K, meaning it's right up there with the fastest gaming CPUs. And that's for the 8-core; remember, the best gaming CPU is not a CPU with lots of cores, it's a CPU with a reasonable number of cores, and the highest possible IPC and clocks. That's why anything more than a 6700K is considered a waste of money for gaming, and even the 6700K is only marginally better than the 6600K.
