Hi, this is my first time posting here so go easy on me.

I recently got a deal on a cheap early 2011 15-inch Macbook Pro.

Specs:

Intel Core i7-2635QM

8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz

1TB 5400rpm HDD
AMD Radeon HD 6490M 256mb

Intel HD Graphics 3000 512mb

Screen Res: 1440x900

So here's the problem. I wanna game on this laptop. Hurrr Durrr... why did you buy a mac if you want to play games hurrr duurrrrr....

I am a student. Im poor as hell. I just spent the rest of my money upgrading the RAM and HDD

I got a mac because my first real PC which i spent a lot of time with was my family's iMac way back in 2009

So i kinda got used to Final Cut Pro, Motion, and the basically the OSX interface.

I just want to play games during my free time.

The AMD Radeon HD 6490M can barely play any of the games nowadays. (The only graphically intensive game i wanna play is GTA 5)

So is there a way to configure an external graphics card? I plan to buy a GTX 660 Jet stream to kinda pair it with the age of my laptop.
