So I bought a 3 monitor stand for my monitors and noticed that my Dell SR2220L is not VESA compatible (Should of looked before hand...). So I had this great idea to crack it open and try to "make" my own mounting point in the back of the monitor to save some money.....Well it back fired. Now I have a half working monitor :\. When I found out my idea wasn't going to work I stuck the monitor back together and powered it up and it was all green and lines everywhere (not hooked to my computer) so I figured it was the ribbon cable. So I took it all apart again and fiddled with the ribbon cable and its better but not 100% (its not green anymore). I'm kinda shooting into the dark with this post but does anyone have any tips on what to troubleshoot with it? When I had it apart the second time I turned it on and it seemed fine but that was without it hooked to my PC but maybe it was still messed up.
