Hey I am doing my first GPU overclock with a Gigabte Windforce RX460 OC and i was wondering how do you know when you overclock the memory too far ? Sorry if this is a dumb question .

It will crash or artifact like if the core clocks were pushed beyond the limits.

so if it runs and there is  no tearing or anything its good even if i have the sliders maxed out, i guess i should have mentioned I'm using the Gigabyte Xtream Gaming engine to overclock my GPU.

Decent. Is power and voltage maxed?

If you find your max on the core, start pushing the memory (ensure that the core OC is stable first).

what I'm using for my overclock doesn't have a power option plus the card i have doesn't have any power connectors its only uses the power from the PCIe slot and that's all
