Hard Drive making buzzing noise

I have a mechanical hard drive and an ssd in my machine, and the hard drive is making an unbearably annoying buzzing noise.  I have no idea why its happening or how to fix it.  Any ideas?

Make sure it is secured in place. There could be some rubber ring or something similar to prevent vibrations. HDD makes vibrations that is common

See if running the hdd outside of the case on something soft removes or lowers the noise. If so, the issue is from the hdd transfering vibrations to the rest of the system and dampening the hdd vibrations by suspending it with elastics or in foam should solve the issue.
