Failed Drive formatting

I have a old drive from a windows pc that I am trying to format one problem. It comes up in multiple partitions and I can not format them and re assenble them all. I have tried to use linux (gparted)
 WIndows (Disk management). I am extremely confused. Any help would be appricated.\

Delete all partitions in GParted and create new one(s)?
