I want to update some of the older components in my PC. Im currently running an Intel i5 4670k, a corsair H100i V2, a MSI gaming 7 motherboard, a MSI GTX 1070 with 8 GB of VRAM, 16 GB of corsair 2400 DDR3 ram, Corsair RM650 Power supply, a 2 TB Hard drive and a 500 GB Samsung SSD all housed inside a First generation Cooler Master Storm Trooper case thats missing a lot of pieces. I would prefer to keep my current processor or wait for the 7th gen Intel processor to come out. I would like to upgrade my motherboard to that has more than 2 usb headers and preferably usb 3.1 or thunderbolt, I would also like to be able to use DDR4 ram. I'm also looking to getting a new case with tempered glass, I like the look of the Corsair Crystal Series 460X RGB however I either need something to make my BD M-Disc drive external or a case with similar look with drive bays. I open to suggestions on cases but I really want something with an open side panel. Everything else I'm pretty happy with my budget is around $600 but I would prefer not to spend more than $150. Thanks for any feedback in advance.

buy a usb add in card.

buy a new platform late summer.

buy your case now if you want.

Could you recommend a USB add in card? It needs to have 2 internal headers one for my SD card reader and for a future upgrade like an LED light strip controller.
