need help asap !!!

so im trying to make a boot sd card for my raspberry pi 3 so i get the imager and os half way through creating the system image my adapter cut out causing it to fail, when it reconnected windows said it had to format it but the only format option is 2gb when its a 32gb sd card... i need help with this

Yes it says the same for me, from what i know that's normal. Also i have reformatted an sd card multiple times and put a different image and it still works fine like it's supposed to. I use Win 32 Disk imager or Universal USB Installer.

so its normal for my 32 gb sd to magically become a 1.6gb sd and make it absolutely useless ?

Not useless, im not sure why it does this yet i am still able to use the full storage space afterwards. Let me check my own.....

well for me its legit just 1.6gb cant use anything over it

Look at this, i have a 8GB microsd card and it says this. Yet it still works.... i dont know why.

I have raspbian jessie installed on it as well so it works. I can still use the full capacity on Raspbian.

im honestly so losty on trying to install the os on my rpi rn its pissing me off, ive been at iot for 45 mins trying to get unbuntu mate onto this dam sd card and now its doing this shit to me

Have you tried to install it using a program? if so did it work any error message?

yes im using win32 disk imager... literally press to mount the ubuntu iso to the sd it goes for 32 seconds then says error and kills my sd card

Damn glad you found a solution might use that in the future should it mess up my sd card.

ya.... now if only i could mount this dam iso and use my raspberry pi this would be great  every dam time it says "iso extraction failed" and then i have to do everything over again
