GPU causing PC to freeze?

I've had my GTX 950 SC from EVGA since August of this year. I just got a 1080p monitor yesterday, and now 10 minutes into playing a game (or something like that), my PC freezes and will not un-freeze until i restart it using the reset button. I've come to believe this is a GPU problem, but I'm not sure. Its paired with an FX-6300 at 4.7 GHz (damn good amirite?) Thanks ahead of time.

Bad drivers ?
Not strong enough power supply ?


But most probable : unstable overclock either on the gpu or CPU. Even if you felt it was stable... try turn off overclock on the cpu and see if it happens again

Just as probable but related: Overheating on either the GPU or cpu would cause a freeze, in which case you should blow out some dust and consider lowering the overclock/voltage a bit.
