Why not mech? Its issue with USB, not keyboard type.

 

Try different USB port, USB2 if you have.

Modern mechanicals have too fast input rate like 1ms and wount detect the keyboard at all. Other dont have that. Some even come with switches from 1 to 5 to prevent that problem and getting in the bios. A lot of threads on the internet with that problem nowadays ;) Or USB is disabled in the bios or broken port, thats also a posibility.
