I upgraded my i5 6600 to a i7 6700k. I started my PC and everything was working just fine then I turned it of and back on again and it didn't turn on. I played around with a few cables trying to get the power led light to work. Any idea as to what cables I may have unplugged in order for the PC not to turn on? Any help is appreciated

So all of those were plugged in and still firmly connected? If so does your motherboard have a power button on it? If not you may want to look at how to power up a computer using those pins often requires bridging it with something and booting it that way.

Might be worth trying to put the old cpu back in may also discover something in doing so like a bent pin or something. Can also test the power supply if there are no lights on the mb when you try to start it up don't know why it would suddenly go bad but would at least eliminate that.

Always a process of elimination with these things.

So atm you can't get it powering on? No lights, no fans? Disconnect all and connect just 24pin power, CPU 8pin and GPU PCIe power cables. Then try it. If it works, connected rest of the stuff.
