A regular headphone splitter won't work, you need a adapter that has two 3-pin female and a 4-pin male.

Hello,

I am not sure if this can be answered but I have been trying to get my PC headset onto my PS4, I have a mod mic 4.0 and a Audio-Technica ATH-AD700X but it has two audio cables whereas a PS4 takes 1. I bought a headphone splitter (two female, one male) but when I plug it in the mic is not found. Is a mod mic not compatible with a PS4 or what. Please help.
