Please power down and connect the PCIe.

DaDelvi

So I just built my computer. Everything works and runs fine. My gpu is a evga 6gb 1060 ftw. My psu is an evga 550. The gpu only has one 8 pin connector and the psu has two 8 pin vga connectors. And a few branch off into 6+2 pins. I'm getting this error:
"Please power down and connect the PCIe power cable(s) for the graphics cards"
Ive connected everything into each other in any kind of way. With these cables that came from the psu what needs to be connected to what?

Note: Connectors at the top are the 8 pin

Probably not bad patch cables.  This is a modular PSU?  Try a different PCI-e port on the PSU?

Yes it's fully modular. It has motherboard, CPU, vga1, vga2, sata1, sata2, and perif1.

Check the voltage at the end of the cable with a circuit tester?
