Will this do it as a HDD mount

Well I got myself a dell optiplex fx 160 but there was no HDD mount included and to buy one is priced higher that an fsc s920 which has a HDD mount included...

So I still had some election tape around and now I glued it in. I kinda wanna know if I can expect to get away with that kind of ghetto solution.

I wouldn't advise it. The HDD may vibrate enough to break the glue apart.

as long as it doesn't move around it's fine, i've run 2.5" HDD's practically dangling from the cabling with a corner sitting on the bottom of the case without issue, as long as you don't drop the case with the computer on your fine.

Actually planning on using it in stand up position. Like this. I guess I'll try it. The HDD isn't in good shape anyway so its no loss.
