Titanfall 2: Killed by CrossFire?

So my Titanfall 2 crashes instantly upon start with Crossfire enabled. I'm running dual R7 260x's (don't ask me why) - using Radeon 16.12.2.

Am I alone? With CF disabled system-wide, the game runs perfectly. I'd like the extra frames tho. :/

Call their support and get an answer straight from them. Does AMD have a CF profile set for the game?

You tried Googling for that yet? Seems like that issue was fixed in the most recent drivers.

Well the results are mixed, and not a whole lot of it yet. A few people seem to have issues but some appear to have it working. Hearsay proclaims that 16.10.2 is adressing the issues, but I beg to differ.

Not sure if it's official, but there's a preset profile in their database to choose. Doesn't fix it unfortunately.

Sigh.. :(I've never had a multi GPU setup before, but these three years have been occupied by more hours of headscratching and troubleshooting than gaming. I don't think I'll go down this road again, RIP Crossfire. -_-

Try running CCleaner. Perhaps a registry edit is causing you issues with Titanfall.

This is why it's always a better idea to buy a single powerful GPU than two weaker GPUs.

Indeed. At the time of purchase it made sense, it got #2 for cheap down the road. On the verge of upgrading now, and It'll be a single gpu for sure.

@ARikozuM

Thanks for the tip, but I'll stay away from third party registry tools. If I'm setting a GPO I'll do it my self.. but this is something diferent, guaranteed.
