More overclocking issues.

Hey guys I've been trying to get my OC stable for the last couple days, I had a decent of at 3.5ghz on my FX 8300 with watercooling so it was staying at 30.C  I was planning to to push more but I got a BSoD and I went snd stress tested the CPU and it failed. I tried reverting to stock settings and I failed in on base settings aswell. I only pushed my Voltage near 1.33v with watercooling I don't get how I could damage my CPU can some someone tell me what happend? 

 My Specs are

Gtx 1050 ti sc

AMD fx 8300

8tv ddr3 ram

Asrock 970m pro3 mobo

Have you tried clearing your cmos?
