Random Freezing

Go to solution Solved by DarkBlade2117,

You mean i7-4790?

Anyways, looking at the specs it is one of 2 things. Temps or the PSU is low quality but the PSU would more than likely be like random shut down's rather then freezing.

So my pc broke down today after I cleaned it but I got it started again and it works just fine for normal use. I don't think the PSU fried anything but when I'm playing games, 5 mins in, the screen freezes and the audio goes nuts. Is this a GPU issue or do I need to replace the mobo? I have the latest graphics driver as well. I'm thinking either the card is busted or the hard drive is.

Some more info:

Windows 10

Gtx 960

i5 4790

8gb Ram

1TB HDD

MSI H81M-E33

600W Rocksoul PSU
