So if i build a new pc with only a ssd and windows is installed on it. I should be able to put in a old hard drive from another computer and all the files from the old hdd will show up on the new pc. Right?

Pretty much, yes.

If your hard drive is not ancient and uses an IDE or PATA connection, then you're fine.

Would drivers from the old hard drive conflict with the drivers on the new computer?

There are no drivers on the drive itself.  Just install it in your new computer and its good to go.

What do you mean there are no drivers on the drive? If the old hard drive had drivers from another mobo, wouldnt they mess with the new drivers on the ssd from the new computer?

No it wont.  The bios/windows only looks at the first boot disk for stuff like that.
