hello i just bought a msi 1060 gaming x 6 g . i have a very old system basically i just wanted a good gpu. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NLrcgL

 

i installed the card got the latest drivers and installed it but i dont seem to have any performance . when i try to open cs go or dota 2 on steam a black screen just poops up and goes down  then nothing , when i try to run ac or cod bo 3 it says dx 11 not found . in nfs rivals it says this card does not suppot  . please help i dont know what to do .

the gpu dosent show on hardware monotor or cpu z but it shows on system info

when tryin to play dota 2 it says unable to find direct 3d device check that your graphics driver is working properly and that you satisfy the mini specs of the game

Do you have UEFI? You may have to switch to Legacy in BIOS, so your old system will recognise the new hardware.

 

Aside from that, I don't know what PC you have, but from my own early experiences: My first PC was a pre-built HP, and it just would not accept a new GPU when I tried.

 

Are you sure you've fully pushed the card into the PCI slot?
