Dual monitor problem, one is fully black

helgehelge123

Hey guys, i´m having a problem again.

this time one of my 2 monitors is completly black. like it is getting a signal from the computer, but it wont show anything, not even a black screen, its as black as if the monitor was off and rarely it kickes in for about one frame and shows what should be on screen.

this happened when i was trying to setup a portforwarding tool, so i will check for mallware and co in a minute. but for now, i reinstaled the drivers with ddu, the resolution is set right, i tested different refresh ratioand dynamic ranges, restarted several times and nothing happend even in secure startup and i reconnected and changed cables.

i have a video of that "flickering" and will upload it in a minute.

My graphics card is a gtx 1060 and i got win 10 pro installed

Did you check the connections? I assume they are at their native settings. Have you tried making that on the main monitor just to see if that stops?

Nice blue yeti

Try the flickering monitor by itself.

Make sure the power and display plug are both connected properly
