Will intel core i5 6600k work with this Motherboard ?

 

I do have the CPU and a cooler for it and I'm not planning on overclocking it.

Yes, but you won't be able to overclock unless you get a Z170 board.

I would get an i5 6500 if you get that mobo. Then you don't have to buy a cooler too

I only got a 6600k because it was just 10 bucks more on sale. Otherwise  iwould've gotten a 6500 with a lower mobo.

Considfer a non K 6500 then? It comes with stoc cooler so you don't have to worry for one

I had the 6600k but since I upgraded I am giving it to my friend as a x-mas present
