10mm clearance enough?

I am looking at purchasing a 6600k, and with that a CPU cooler to OC it (already have z170 board). I am set on the Dark Rock 3 for it's looks and price, but I am wondering if 10mm of clearance is enough for my case.

It can't be a close fit as the case has tempered glass and scratching would be a nightmare.

yes 10mm is heaps. I doubt you can bend tempered glass by 10mm

10mm is plenty of clearance, it's about 3/8th of an inch. That being said, the obvious follows.

You can't bend or protrude glass, it'll scratch/crack, or in the case of tempered glass, shatter into beads. But even with heat expansion, 3/8 should be plenty of clearance. I'd go for it if I were you.

There's no cooler which would interfere with that case. You can even have heatpipes touching window and be fine.
