sorry if I posted this in the wrong subforum....

So, I am trying to find the best way to setup a simple audio receiver/server that will be hooked up to my Emotiva DC-1 DAC so play music out of our stereo system. I am trying to find a solution that allows us to bluetooth into the device so that we can play music through our phones and tablets. The other main idea I had was to actually have a touchscreen at the stereo that would hook into the Synology DS415+ NAS so that you can go up to the stereo and play music that way. This would allow use to play lossless files because it would all be wired. Also for people who don't have there phones on hand, they can just go up and play music.

So my idea to do this is to use a Raspberry Pi 3. I bought on when they first came out because I am a Raspberry Pi fanboy. This has built in bluetooth along with being able to support the Raspberry Pi official touchscreen and case. The problem I am running into at the moment is what software to use to do this. I have tried a few different things to do this. OSMC was the closes I came, although that doesn't support Bluetooth which is sort of a drawback. So do any of you have any suggestions for software to use to do this? Or, I haven't bought a touchscreen and case yet, so if there is a better solution out there I am willing to look into it.

P.S. I don't want to just put an old computer and screen there, this is suppose to be nice and small. I don't want a huge old computer and all that stuff in the small corner in my living room.

As far as I know, raspberry pi can only act as a bluetooth master, not as a slave. Meaning you can't use as a Bluetooth audio receiver.
