100% cpu

When i look in task manager when i'm running a game such as h1z1 it says my cpu usage is between 90-100 % usage. Why is this? I just installed my new gpu and another 8g of ram. Before i had the new gpu i had just my processor and of course it also had 100% cpu usage... I don't know if any of this makes sense but i need help.

From what I've seen, H1Z1 is very CPU intensive (read: poorly optimized). The minimum processor requirement is an i5 which is kind of shocking to me.

so that would explain the 100% cpu usage

Unfortunately, yes. Users have reportedly been sitting at anywhere between 70 to 100% usage with i5 CPUs clocked at 4.0+ GHz while on H1Z1.
