SD card are not a good investment as as they have bad value.

A cheapest 256 is at around 80

or a USB flash drive

500GB is around the same price of a GPU

Try for external HDD? For 60 dollars you get 2 TB

Would be cheaper

All prices are from Newegg. I beleive other sites would be cheaper but would not expect by a lot

You can go on amazon and search for flash drives. Be careful though as many are programmed to claim to hold more than they do.

Western Digital sells external hard drives called "My Passport" which have an excellent reputation.

A Micro SD card would be better, because it can fit in more devices, and you can put them in a converter.
So you put the Micro SD into a fake SD, and you can use the Micro SD in normal SD slots. Idk the name of the converter thing, but it's some sort of adaptor. Many Micro SD cards come with them.

Would you pay 10 times more for something big? There are some really slim HDD. Some are almost as small as SSD. Would be better investement

dont buy an SD Card to expand storage, they all run on USB 2.0 interfaces

your best bet is to get a 2.5inch usb 3.0 external drive
