Hi everyone,

I'm having an issue to get my cpu voltage right and stable on my new rig.

My hardware:-

i7 6700K.

gigabayte z170x gaming 7 (Bios v F20).

4x8gb 3000mhz (32GB).

seasonic 1050w .

My issue is when I'm running my cpu on 100% load 4.0 - 4.2 ghz (stock speed) with default voltages I'm getting a 1.35v - 1.37v and 77 c temp and 0.835v - 0.900v on idle, now as much i know that is to high for a stock speed so I changed the vcore to 1.25v and i run a stress test and it's stable with 53 temp

and i was very happy about the results but I noticed that on idle mode the vcore doesn't drop how it's should be on (adaptive mode) I checked the bios and everything on auto besides the vcore and there is no option for adaptive or strict mode.

This problem driving me crazy, is there something i am missing or its jusk okay to leave it on my settings?

Please help Thanks.
