Hello I'm new here and i would like to ask for some help.

I have this system: Comp case - Tt Supresor F 51

PSU - Corsair RM 650x

Motherboard - Asus Z170 Pro Gaming

CPU - intel i7 6700k

GPU - Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 Gaming

Ram - 1x Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3000MHz CL15

CPU cooler - Cooler Master Hyper 212X and i replaced the stock fan with 2xCorsair SP120 PWM High Performance Edition High Static Pressure, 120mm in push pull config

I want to overclock my CPU to 4500 MHZ. It seems that at 1.310 is stable, I will try to go lower if i can

By default settings in BIOS my CPU had a 1.312 v idk why, probably some form of oc from the motherboard.. ?

After i find a voltage for my system to be stable, what Stress test should i run ? I want to run a stress test for about 10 h just to make sure.

And what avrg temp should i have to be safe and not blow up my CPU ?

I downloaded AIDA 64 , Intel Extreme tuning utility , Real temp for the temps and CPU-z are these any good ?

If someone can provide me with some answers i would be so grateful. Thank you in advance and have a nice day

1.3v is way too much for a 212 evo.

You saw >1.3v because it runs on adaptive voltage. A stock CPU always switches to high voltages to sustain boost clocks.

And just because you saw that on the bios, doesn't mean it's always running on 1.3v in Windows. CPUs always run at an established max voltage in bios.

Hello, and thank you for the reply

So I ran a Stability test with AIDA 64 for about 45 mins with Stress CPU , Stress FPU , Stress Cache and Stress system memory.

Bios changes : multiplier set to 45 and sync all cores with a manual voltage of 1.280 v

Running the Stability test I had open Real temp and CPU-z

The Max temp that hit on Real temp was 90 degrees Celsius  Avrg. was at 68 degrees Celsius and the core voltage that CPU-z was showing 1.312 v

Do you think I can run a longer test ? 8-10 h ?
