980ti Reference Voltage

How much voltage can go through a Reference board 980ti on air? I just got an EVGA Hybrid 980ti and it overclocks like dog shit compared to my Gigabyte card (Albeit MUCH quieter at 4k.) I've already modded the bios to let 120% power limit instead of 110% which, combined with +87 in afterburner to voltage, gives a GPU voltage of 1.243.

I never touch the max Voltage via Bios. I OC what Afterburner allowes. Rest is silicon lottery.

If the temp is good 1.225v-1.243v is the borderline I think. 

 

Is if worth the performance gain when u do that?
