"Any modern GPU that can connect to that type of port should work."

Don't just try to get a yes or no answer, when it has already been given to you. Do a quick 1 minute google search and you would have the answer, and for the bonus, you'd be smarter as well.

What is your power supply rated at?  That's pretty much the only other thing to worry about as far as making it work goes.  An FM2 mother board will have an older but still capable CPU so a 460 would be a good combo.

As long as your power supply is around 350W and you aren't running some crazy mess of hard drives or fans and pumps, it should be ok.

This is what was said to you.

"1 x PCIe 3.0 x16, 1 x PCIe 2.0 x1, 1 x PCI, Supports AMD Dual Graphics. Any modern GPU that can connect to that type of port should work."

Now, look at your desired card and see if it's in compliance with any of them. It's really not that hard.

And I know you are new, hence trying to push you to read and learn ;)

Yes, but just to get you jump started, every modern GPU and motherboard are in compliance (and have been for the last 11 years, since 2005). So don't worry about motherboards and GPUs, they both have PCI-express ports.

Oh ok thank. But I have also heard about bottle necking. Will that happen if I combine an old motherboard or CPU with a new gpu?

Yes, there is always a bottleneck in any computer. The slowest component will always slow down other components (even if it's marginal). So building a balanced PC is the key, to minimize bottlenecking, although you can never get rid of it.

So what I found out is that the windforce rx460 has an PCI-EXPRESS x16 3.0 interface and my motherboard has also got one.So they are compatible?

Thank you for all your so anything else I need to take into account besides Watts,PCI and the gpu's length and width?

You can forget about the PCI-e factor, all modern cards and motherboard work well with each other. Other than, just make sure your PSU is of high quality (not cheap) and your CPU's socket matches the motherboards socket. Secondly, if you buy DDR3 RAM, then your motherboard has to be DDR3 compatible and the same goes for DDR4.

If you decide to ever buy an SSD with an M.2 interface, then your motherboard has to have a M.2. socket as well. Feel free to link me your build or sth if you ever need a consult. Most SSDs use SATA, which is a very safe buy, because all motherboards have SATA connections.
