Question and recommendation

My question is my Motherboard GA Z97X Gaming 3, I want to put in an M.2 on the board but the description says I cannot run both SATA Express and M.2. Can I use SATA 1 & 2 instead?

 

If I am able to run an M.2, can anyone recommend me one? If not which SSD should I get?

Also, I plan on liquid cooling my CPU, any recommendations for that as well?

How much can you spend. Yes you can use regular SATA ports

I would recommend Samsung EVO NVME drives

About 300 dollars. That means I should get the 960 EVO 500 GB right?

Awesome, thank you. Lastly, which Liquid CPU Cooler would you recommend me? My current Cooler is Thermaltake's Frio Silent 12.
