Hello folks, last night I spilled just a bit of soda on my Razer Blackwidow chroma, I immediately unplugged the keyboard and it still registers keystrokes and the lighting effects work fine. However the soda has left a couple keys lacking there tactile bump. I I fully cleaned the keyboard, soaked the key caps, dropped a little bit of rubbing alcohol into the switch. This perfectly fixes the problem for about 20 mins, then I lose tactile bump and in 3 or so hours the key takes a good second to come back up once pressed. Is there a more permanent solution for this?

Any and all advice is welcome. Thanks.

I would dissemble it as much as possible and soak all the parts in 99% isopropyl alcohol. That should fix it.

Probably your best bet +1

Seems to me that since Alcohol is acting as a lubricant which means it's obviously getting well into the switch. It seems that all I would need to do is find a liquid that would break down the sugar for good but also not brick my Blackwidow.. ?

Alcohol evaporates nicley, that is what the smell is.

Right so as soon as the alcohol evaporate it no longer lubricates the key and it becomes sticky again :/

The reason for the alcohol is to transport the sticky away, however that is a valid statement.

I would also suggest the 99% isopropyl alcohol (swipes) suggestion. Saved sticky keys for me countless times.
