Notice the purchased parts, and looks do matter to me.

for 1440p gaming, upgrading from i5 4690k and GTX 970.

Will add other drives and maybe SLI in future.

Well, with an i7, GTX 1080, Full tower and flashy lights, it can obviously only be for one thing:

Solitaire.

If you waited a bit you could have gotten the special edition white Corsair RMi

Considered Corsair Vengence LED white RAM?

Looks nice so far

Not a fan of corsair RAM, I did consider Geil SUPER LUCE though.

I have been told the TridentZ is super nice and will perform better, and it looks pretty sharp.

besides, with a HUE+ (and Kraken x62 (and NZXT AERs in the future)), the white LEDs would look odd among the RGB

If your sticking with a Z170 board you can spend about $ 20-30 dollars more on the ASUS sabretooth Z170, it might match you white themed build better.

Not a huge fan of the white/gray camo, but I did consider the MSI Krait X3, or a slightly more expensive ASUS board.
