Somebody who got it right the first time congrats!

though i would get a Atx mobo because the small one loks awkward but hey if that's what you like

I agree, if you can afford it. Also, get a SanDisk ssd, the guy I talked to at Microcenter said that Sandisk is more reliable than PNY/Adata/Most other brands. But other than that Really great build one of the better ones I have seen at that price.

it's fine having a 1060 and no free sync.

it's not fine having a case with no external optical drive slot or a 1070 with a EVGA 500b

I would try and get a mechanical keyboard if you can. If you want there are always cheaper case to consider at.

Also the monitor has free sync. It would be a mistake not to get RX 480

im quite the amateur when it comes to computers. Would the Rx 480 get substantially better performance with this monitor? and also what other monitor would take better advantage of the 1060

G sync monitors with NVIDIA gpu are EXPENSIVE AS HELL

Free Sync allowing you to play games with AMD gpu smoother and nicer

no point getting a freesync monitor with a gtx 1060 imo, just get a regular ips monitor for less and use the money on something else. i'd usually hesitate putting a 500B on an rx 480, let alone the gtx 1070. xD

deepcool dukase is $50 and really good if you can afford it. otherwise, i'd recommend thermaltake's versa H cases and the deepcool tesseract.
