If it's not malware, as @MANIDY inc has suggested, then it could be an OS related problem. Have you installed any updated recently? I keep seeing complaints like that more often since the update for Windows 10 from a few days ago.
Other than that you could try the SSD with a different SATA port and cables, to see if the issue still persists. Download a diagnostic tool and test the drive for errors as well.
And of course all of that should be done after you've backed all the important data you might have written on that drive, just as a cautionary measure.

I deleted the update last night and it fixed this morning, I just saw your suggestion so thanks anyway.
